# Friendly-Apps — Workshop

## A workshop among friends.
Together we build software that is friendly: understandable, accessible, and made so that data stays where it belongs. Here, a whole grows from small building blocks.

## Ideas become tools.
We develop understandable applications, connect reusable modules and document decisions. Explore the workbench, its building blocks and the journey from an idea to a usable project.

## Principles
What we stick to, in every building block.
* Understandable and accessible – Written for people, usable by everyone.
* Automated, also without AI – AI is an option, never a requirement.
* Works offline too – The code works without a constant connection to the outside.
* Your data stays with you – What runs locally stays on your device – then not even we have your data. What needs a server lives on our own servers in the EU. Content from other providers, such as videos or maps, only loads when you click it.
* Privacy from the start – If anything is to leave, we tell you beforehand what, where to and why – and you decide.
* Built in the open – We show what we are working on – the unfinished parts too.

How you can take part today:
* Add wishes to every principle and vote with ▲: on the principles, press “Where it lives ›” (signed in).
* Long-press any element and choose “Ask for an adjustment” — your device and view come along (signed in).
* Develop with us: click “Feedback” at the bottom and describe what you wish for – or long-press the spot itself and choose “Ask for an adjustment”. Before sending you see exactly what you send.
